Shorehill Capital LLC (“Shorehill”) is pleased to announce our inclusion in Inc. magazine’s 2020 list of Top 50 Best Private Equity Firms for Entrepreneurs. Shorehill also appeared on Inc.’s inaugural list in 2019. The list, which appears in the magazine’s November 2020 issue, identifies the private equity firms with a track record of successfully backing entrepreneurs.

Over the last twelve months Shorehill continued to invest from its $191.5 million inaugural fund. In October 2019 Shorehill acquired a majority ownership interest in its fifth portfolio company, Triad Technologies LLC. The acquisition was completed in partnership with the management team and the Wissman family, the company’s founding family. Triad Technologies is a leading value-added distributor of industrial fluid power and automation solutions, supplying products that solve its customers’ technical challenges across hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, lubrication and automation technologies. In addition, Shorehill portfolio company Power Grid Components announced in January 2020 that it had completed the acquisition of Royal Switchgear, a family-owned precision manufacturer of substation and transmission group-operated disconnect switches, substation and distribution hookstick disconnects, and substation power connectors. This represents the fourth acquisition for Power Grid Components, a supplier of high-quality products utilized in the North American electric power grid. Finally, two Shorehill portfolio companies expect to complete acquisitions of businesses from entrepreneur-owners before the end of 2020.
