Tribus Aerospace adds Bob Ellithorpe as Chief Executive Officer

Tribus Aerospace LLC (“Tribus”) is pleased to announce that Robert (“Bob”) N. Ellithorpe has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and director of Tribus.  Mr. Ellithorpe has over 30 years of experience in general management, program management, and operations at multiple aerospace and defense companies.

 

Bob joins Tribus following his leadership role at GKN Aerospace, where he was Vice President, Program Management and Commercial for Aerostructures North America from 2015-2018.  From 2012-2015, he was employed by Precision Castparts Corporation (“PCC”) serving as President and General Manager of the Aerospace Dynamics International and Fatigue Technology Inc. divisions.  Before PCC, Bob held several general management and program management positions at Sikorsky Aircraft and Bell Helicopter.  At Bell Helicopter, his program management leadership responsibilities included the V-22 Osprey, Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter and Deepwater programs.  Bob is a retired United States Marine Corps infantry officer, having served from 1986-1999 and retiring from his final post at U.S. Marine Corps headquarters in the Pentagon.  He earned degrees from Texas A&M University (B.S.), Georgetown University (M.A.), the University of Dallas (M.B.A.) and completed an International Affairs Fellowship with the Council on Foreign Relations.
